Project Options
Project Options added.
This is a way to specify properties of many items at the Project level as opposed to the System Option or Drawing Option level.
Rod & Shelf
The "back" of the shelf references drywall rather than framing.
Wire Shelves option added.
Selection Indication
If the Black background is still selected the expanding selection box is shaded white
Snap
Snap improved, smoothed, when zoomed in very close.
This makes drawing details much easier.
Hello,
Option Management sounds like a major feature rather than a miscellaneous one. So if I am a production builder, and I sell plans with not only multiple elevations but multiple structural options also (Opt. 3 Car Garage, Opt. Walk-Out Basement, Opt. Sunroom, etc…) would this feature set allow me to manage that complexity in an intelligent way and allow me to create a “master document” in addition to the “lot specifics”? Are there any videos available where I can see this feature in action? I’m having trouble digging up enough information on this to know if I want to jump in to Softplan or not. Feel free to reach out to me if you like to discuss further.
Great looking product. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, Dave
In your scenario the 3 Garage is the option. The elevations are a result of the currently selected options. You may have a master plan but each lot would have its own copy. Your company owns copies and is current so you should be able to see this feature in action.
Systems options and project options are going to be really helpful in customizing Softplan and creating an even better workflow. This is important as investing a bit of time in your setup pays off big dividends down the line. Thanks for the options!
